IFGL (International Financial Group Limited) is a company made up of 3 main brands RL360, Friends Provident International and Ardan with offices in Isle of Man, Hong Kong, Uruguay, Malaysia, Dubai and South Africa.
Solution:
As a designer working for IFGL, I explored several strategies with the comms and social media team to create engaging and informative content that would capture the attention of the target audience.
1. Using more graphics/icons: I utilised photos and illustration that helped simplify complex financial concepts and made them more engaging by using colorful visuals and illustrations. These were shared on social media and other digital platforms to educate and inform the audience.
2. Create Animated Videos: I created short, animated videos that explained financial products, jargons and services in a fun and engaging way. This helped simplify them for the audience and it will help them remember it visually.
3. Use real-life examples and customer engagement: We created content that showcase the employees for people to see that they are dealing with humans, invited our sales team to post their reaction to the apps and also posted reviews of customers who have used our products.
4. Consistent Branding: I help maintain the visual style across all channels. This helped in building brand recognition and making the content easily identifiable.
As a result, IFGL was able to connect with its target audience and build brand awareness across different channels. The artworks and animated videos received positive feedback, and the real-life examples helped the audience to relate to the products and services. The engagement on social media also increased due to the interactive content, and the consistent branding helped to improve brand recognition.
